Y-cable and USB-OTG: mutually exclusive

I could not have said it better.

Carrying around so many different chargers just because every device
means it needs a special one is stupid. At the moment I'm able to
charge 6 different mobile phones, a BT GPS mouse and a BT headset with
one USB charger.

And yes, I also heard that China has, or is planning, a law that
forces mobile phones to be chargeable via USB. I welcome this,
hopefully more countries to come.
