It's true, but actually libmad and anything else in the audio chain
being integer will solve "it" for the audio case you're actually hurting on.

The GTA02 CPU is decently fast at 400MHz / 32-bit and float isn't needed
at all for playing back audio, at least for MP3, OGG and FLAC decode.
