Indeed it does  :)
(add '-usbdevice keyboard' to the options for qemu, 
 it works quite well for me (sometimes a key gets stuck but that's it))

Actually I don't think it communicates with the onscreen keyboard I guess
it's just a usb keyboard connected to the emulated neo...
