Don't get me wrong - I fully appreciate the need for it in your
situation.  Some other people have spoken out strongly against it in
IRC, but I take a much more "inclusive" attitude towards it :-)

I'm also cognizant of the need to make sure that Phase0 devs are
building the same images as OpenMoko core devs, to ensure that no time
is wasted on bug reports that come from building and testing different
things.  That's the main reason why I wrote MokoMakefile, so we can be
sure of reproducible environments and bug reports.  And the new
'force-rebuild' target, which should ensure a build the same as the core
devs are doing.
