I can confirm this.
Haven't used it for a while, but with the help of enhance (also a lib of the
enlightenment project) you can directly use glade for etk (no converting
needed).
You can also use parts of gtk howtos for etk if you check the different api
in the doxygen-documentation ( http://docs.enlightenment.org ).
I'm sure you can find help in IRC, too.
