</blockquote></div><br>Well, er, you've also got to be careful that the owner himself didn't replace the SIM card--perhaps they changed carriers or whatnot. If you don't pay for SMS, this kind of update could be useful to keep folks updated, as well as for theft protection--but if one does pay for SMS, you could run into money on a legit SIM change.
