Bluetooth power up not working?

Hi all,
I've just flashed the latest daily build kernel and rootfs(*) onto my
GTA01Bv4, and tried (for the first time since I bought it back in
August) to get the Bluetooth working. Unfortunately I have stumbled at
the first hurdle, getting the bluetooth chip powered up and recognised
by the kernel.
AFAIK it just isn't appearing on USB - do I have to enable USB host mode
in the S3C2410? There is no usb_mode file here (as mentioned in the Wiki
page 'Neo1973_USB_host'): /sys/devices/platform/s3c2410-ohci/usb_mode
Am I missing something in the kernel (see module list)?
Here's the output of lsusb after trying to power up the device:
root at fic-gta01:~$ cat /sys/bus/platform/devices/gta01-pm-bt.0/power_on
1
root at fic-gta01:~$ lsusb
Bus 1 Device 1: ID 0000:0000
thanks in advance,
Phil.
