Somebody in the thread at some point said:

It's just a panic from Linux (which booted OK then because there is no
red led flashing code called in kboot)... highly likely you don't have
ext2 SD Card first partition with rootfs on which will make a panic
after the drivers are all initialized.

Watch the serial console and you should see the Linux boot and at the
end say it cannot mount the filesystem or somesuch.  Normal boot now
looks like this:
