At least with 2008.8, the wakeup times are pretty fast - I'd say less
than one second (I have lots of debug output now, so it's much more for
me). Of course the device can fall quite far during 1 second, maybe you
don't have to simulate the crack on the screen even! :-)



I'll have to make you disappointed (for a while at least!) however: The
wakeup functionality doesn't quite work yet - the device just wakes up
immediately if the freefall/wakeup interrupt is configured. I guess
that will be sorted out though.

I'm not sure if the wakeup reason is exported to userspace, but I guess
that should be pretty trivial.


I'm looking forward to seeing your application, although I'd be
reluctant to actually try it ;-)
