After a lot of hunting, I've figured out that the battery stops sending information when the LEDs are configured in the kernel. Not the vibrator, but the AUX and POWER LEDs. It doesn't seem to matter if I include LED triggers or not. I have not narrowed it down any further than that yet. Cheers, Sean
