still don't get it - why are we turning off charging?

8.12.6.2 USB input
         A dedicated USB input is available to support USB charging. Current 
limiting is
         guaranteed at the USB input, even though the USB path is split 
between 2 power
         components. The current limit level can be set to 100 mA, 500 mA or 1 
A by means of the
         usbdevstat bits in register MBCC7 (see Table 98).


Shouldn't this suffice?
