There are also issues possible around Z mounting coplanarity with the
solder paste, X/Y device mounting skew from SMT, and PCB mounting
repeatability in the plastic case.  But if I think about the same
numbers that Wolfgang is, the offset difference was too large to be
explained by it.

There's plenty more to do than hands to do it as usual, but really like
the other "wounds that won't heal" it isn't fixed because we are
clueless about where the problem comes from.  With the last patch I am
pretty sure the locking stuff is good and the bitbang works, and I don't
see it fail here, but Sean McNeil gets it to fail easily.
