Yeah I realize that if one found oneself in that situation, one faces
every possible story or suspicion or rumour of problems. It would not a
good situation to be in, for that time inbetween shipping with the
deficit and fixing it with an update.
I explained my logic last night in the hypothetical (yet not uncommon)
situation one has a sorted list of problems in order of gravity, and you
did not get to the end of the list when you must ship. I doubt anyone
who does this kind of work is a complete stranger to the choice between
a rock and a hard place. Anyway hopefully we will not be in either
position with this, although evidently we still do not and will not
comply with all the USB specs with Marko's shorting thing.
