So i guess, the best is to check first whether the flicker is LSB only. Maybe 
by pulling R/B-LSB to GND, or cut open and pull up, if this is allowable. 

I don't know what's this ID / 5:6:5 thing with glamo, but to me the glamo 
sounds *much* more suspicious than LCM then.
