Sure it must not do so, if there is no bug in hw and ISR (IRQ not blocked -> 
calls nesting??? Hmm this should freeze the cpu completely, or oops with 
stack broken). I'm eager to have a look in this, as soon as i have a accel, 
cpu, and debug board. This kind of drivers issues is sth i really love to 
work on. :-)
