Somebody in the thread at some point said:

| All we have to do is undo the kernel hack which effectively disables
| EVIOCGRAB and then it is trivial to turn off the touchscreen.
| Just open the device and issue that ioctl.
|
| I think userspace has been fixed to not depend on this hack any more,
| so I guess I should prod the kernel guys to drop that patch.
|
| Prod.
|
| We simply want to revert

OK so if I follow, just nuke this

http://git.openmoko.org/?p=kernel.git;a=blobdiff;f=drivers/input/evdev.c;h=2f3d82511749d560fbd4f8e26dc525c0e4bee946;hp=e5b4e9bfbdc5b044b968a70579f13eea513a12c6;hb=a6b37451a52ae7d30c2493b9cc14b8604e81587d;hpb=40d5d4e980e0d4a5d00759f7fa2a18488f95a0ef

from mokopatches effectively? It sounds better that we use existing
IOCTL than add some /sys thing we have to sell upstream.
