How to compile openwrt 2.6.30 kernel?

Hi Lars,
thanks, this helped. But in the end i am using openwrt build system -
much easier then compiling manually.

I have 2.6.30 kernel up and running system with Qtopia on top of Debian.
I dont know what has changed, but with this new kernel the system is
amazingly fast. The GUI is now like 5x faster and instantly responding. 

So thanks for great work.
