Mark, i know. In fact i am just too shy to post to the mainline MLs
being so unsure about my skills and solutions so i decided to get some
feedback from here first where i feel more "at home".

If you think that is inappropriate, i'll post to the mainline ML (of
course after checking it applies cleanly) immediately.
