Location of vmlinux and u-boot files

Hi guys,
  I wanted to debug some issues on Om2008.12 kernel using gdb but I
could not find the vmlinux and uboot files specific to this build. Is
there a place these get stored or it's up to me to download Om2008.12
sources and build it myself?
