I guess the underlying question is: Do we have a statement from Samsung
about MCP availability now ?

If yes, what did they say ? If not, we can't decide much before we have
that statement.

By the way, if we can't get all the mDDR we need in the MCP, I wonder if
it makes sense at all to have a split solution. I.e., Samsung offer a
1Gb mDDR chip (K4X1G323PC for 32 bit bus width) which is only slightly
larger than the 512Mb variant (11x13mm vs. 9x13mm).
