does "reboot by accu removal" damage?

hello,

on my new (just a few days old) freerunner, I see these messages:

JFFS2 notice: (1045) check_node_data: wrong data CRC in data node at 0x0f4be764: read 0x4ad0d3ea, calculated 0x6d598433.
JFFS2 notice: (1045) check_node_data: wrong data CRC in data node at 0x0a95d798: read 0x2cb3dee5, calculated 0xec671464.
mapped channel 10 to 2

JFFS2 notice: (1045) check_node_data: wrong data CRC in data node at 0x0cf415f8: read 0x6e1251bc, calculated 0x8bf69b79.

this seems to be increasing, now it's one line more than just some hours
ago.

the problem is, my freerunner keeps freezing. and when there's no PC nearby,
I cannot just "ssh freerunner" and reboot the device, so I have to remove
the accu in order to start it again. I wonder of these are just software
(filesystem corruption) or real hardware errors?

kind regards,
H. Rosmanith
