no sound from qtopia calendar

Hi all,

my qtopia calender app is still doing nothing :( I don't see anything 
in  /var/log/messages or any sign of an error. The cellphone rings on an 
incomming call and I can also play music from mediaplayer. The FR does not 
wake up on an incomming call.

Could someone please explain what happens if I enter a new appointment into 
qtopia? It goes to one of the sqlite db's. Which daemon is responsible for 
either waking up the device or just playing a sound at the right point in 
time. How does this daemon gets its data?
