suspend/resume and Debian on SD card

hi list
attached i send a extended version of matchbox-keyboard-toggle  
(renamed to freerunner-buttons)
now it also handles power-button-press:
when held for 2+ seconds 'apm -s' is called

can someone give me an idea how to just lock the screen so it doesn't  
react on touch?
my idea is to toggle matchbox-keyboard on simple AUX-button and (un) 
lock and dim the screen on longer press ..
