since i got bluetooth up and (somehow) working thanks to a pointer in irc
to the wiki (Debian#Bluetooth), i now try to get a bluetooth headset
(jawbone style) working.
i used the script provided in the wiki
> http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Manually_using_Bluetooth#Headset_Audio
which simply dies with
Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "./btheadset.py", line 11, in <module>
     headset.Connect()
   File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/dbus/proxies.py", line 68, in
__call__
     return self._proxy_method(*args, **keywords)
   File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/dbus/proxies.py", line 140, in

in call_blocking
     message, timeout)
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.bluez.Error.ConnectionAttemptFailed:
Connection attempt failed

even with
hcitool cc <btaddress>
there's no success -- doing
hcitool cc <btaddress> ; hcitool con <btaddress>
shows very short a connection
hcitool cc <btaddress> ; hcitool auth <btaddress>
yields
HCI authentication request failed: Input/output error

i do not really know where to go from here since all what i could find
either doesn't help or is heavily outdated.
anybody got the fr under debian playing with bluetooth?
