As yet Qtopia Extended has a version for the GTA01.
http://qtextended.org/modules/mydownloads/   the ROM flash Images.
Not totally trouble free but worth a try. Interesting.
A new version expected any day.


and the Qi bootloader is available (although perhaps a bit scary on
the GTA01 as no NOR available.)
There is at least one  older boot which will dual boot the GTA01.
