This is pinging the desktop machine.

First two hits indicate firewall:

Is Shorewall installed on this machine? Can you `/etc/init.d/iptables  
stop`?

I would be grateful if you could post in PLAIN-TEXT to the mailing  
list. For parts of your message You have chosen a font which is
