Battery use and maintenance

Hi Chris, I dont have much time to answer but have you checked the
possibilities of suspending battery recharging with basic Linux commands
like apm (it won't help) and the acpi module (think that's the one) that is
responsible in part of battery charging and that can be viewed/setted thru
sysctl. You may want to refer to linux manual pages to see what is possible.
