gta02, 2007.2: bluetooths headset -> calling?

i checked the archives and the wiki but there seem sto be no really
success w/ using a bt headset (jawbone style, not a2dp).
due to the buzzing issue i'd like to try a headset instead -- the wired
one buzzes even worse, so i decied to try my cheap jawbone.

the archives and the buctracker indicate that there is a working built-in
solution at least for calling (sound is routed directly to gsm), but ho
wdo i get it work?
the script from
dies with an error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "./", line 10, in <module>
   File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/dbus/", line 68, in
     return self._proxy_method(*args, **keywords)
   File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/dbus/", line 140, in
   File "/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/dbus/", line 607, in
     message, timeout)
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.bluez.Error.ConnectionAttemptFailed:
Connection refused

probably the pin is needed, bur whatever i put in /etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf
does not help.

does anyone successful use a bt jawbone headset to make and recive calls?
