The one that got installed with TangoGPS looks like this:

root at om-gta02:/usr/share/applications# more tangogps.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Name=GPS & Map
Comment=Display map and GPS position
Encoding=UTF-8
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Exec=tangogps
Icon=tangogps
Terminal=false
Categories=GTK;Application;PIM;GPS;
SingleInstance=true
StartupNotify=true

and doesn't work. I wonder why.
