How to get over Battery not charging

Such a relevant topic!
I just started using Freerunner as my daily phone.
I  am running SHR Testing.
The Battery indicator indicates 0.

I was in the car, it didn't seem to charge.
At work, I have a Motorola charger, doesn't help.
(just enough to keep it on, I think).

On Windows, I don't think it was ever
recognized as a device;   it certainly didn't charge.


My colleague has a linux box on his desk;
it is charging now.
