Very much so.  I noticed that the current settings have the screen using
quite a bit of power.  Take it to a dark area and you can see the glow.

I'm wondering how much of that waste is the result of trying to use the
touch screen for wake-up.  Wouldn't it save much more power to use the
button on the side for that?
