[2008.12] missing libqt

hi,
i've installed quasar, a frontend for mplayer, but am having problems
getting it to run:

quasar: error while loading shared libraries: libqt-mt.so.3: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory

from a bit of search on google, i find that the -mt suffix denotes
multi-threading and i can safely symlink to libqt.so.3 but this does
not exist, and i cannot find which package contains it, or if it's
even in the om repos

any ideas, anyone?
