Myth of Missed Phone calls confirmed!

I think *most* people don't know they need to update the firmware. Maybe we should put this in a prominent place, on the main page for OM maybe?

I follow both lists, and saw the discussions about if updates would be made available. Then saw a "release" of version 9 and then 10, but it was not recommended for general use. There was also and issue about updating to 10 because it caused problems as I recall? Somehow I missed that version 11 was released and that it's been blessed for general use now.

Does version 11 work with alternate distros? For example, does it cause issues with QT, Android, etc? I think that was part of the reason 10 was a no go, since it changed something that made one of the more common releases not work.

If you don't know, you are probably using the old version. See
/GSM/Flashing in the wiki for more information on how to upgrade.
