The movement is similar on both my A5s. One is relatively deskbound so sees 
few insertion cycles, while the other is an everyday phone so sees quite a 
lot. The symptoms certainly sound like a problem with the socket though.

I guess if your soldering was up to the task you wouldn't be asking :-(
