Hello,<br><br> This is just a quick question but I wonder if this is my area of concern : <br><br><br>
1) apt-get source linux-image-2.6.24-openmoko-<div id=":1ps" class="ArwC7c ckChnd">gta02<br>
2) modify linux-2.6-openmoko-20081103.git7172ec57/defconfig-gta02 by hand or with menuconfig<br>
3) sudo apt-get build-dep linux-image-2.6.24-openmoko-gta02<br>
4) fakeroot apt-get --build source linux-image-2.6.24-openmoko-gta02<br>
5) sudo dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.24-openmoko-gta02*.deb<br><br>When I execute the above commands, running command 3 downloads the sources and unpacks them - is this overwriting the changes I have made to defconfig-gta02 and causing the kernel to compile with the standard options again - without my additions to tell it to compile the video4linux drivers?<br>
