Checking older builds and flashing the Neo1973 with
http://buildhost.openmoko.org/OM2007.1/tmp/deploy/images/uImage-2.6.21.6-moko11-r1_0_0_2388_0-fic-gta01.bin
and
http://buildhost.openmoko.org/OM2007.1/tmp/deploy/images/openmoko-devel-image-fic-gta01-20070803091138.rootfs.jffs2
enables using the gsm modem again.
