change keyboard.xml files to take advantage of color and thumbmode

As Jeremiah Flerchinger has started to work on a gtk replacement, I won't
continue to work on matchbox-keyboard. An Screenshot and an ipkg of a
matchbox-keyboard-inputmethod with the patches applied can be downloaded form
