Oh, I was wrong - I should have read on in the WM8753 manual.

In case the Neo1973 would have two 2,5 mm audio connector,
GPIO could switch one of this connector (orignial audio in) 
to mono headphone out?

Possible stats of audio IO with two stereo audio jacks:

2 lines in, 2 lines out
2 mic in, 2 lines out
1 line + 1 mic in, 2 lines out
1 line or mic in, 3 lines out
instead of 2 line out it could be stereo headphone out
or 1 line + 1 mono headphone out
instead of 1 line out it could be mono headphone out

That would make about 12 possible combinations.


Will GPIO be overrule by software - e.g. disabling the automute of
the speakes when a headphone/lineconnector is plugged in?
