FIC is based in Taiwan but this project is totally global at this
point.

I really don't know what you want to me to say here. We're selling you
an unlocked phone. There's no reason why it won't work on any GSM
network. Companies like Cingular have been known to whitelist handsets.
They *could* do it for the Neo. I highly doubt they would. But if this
is the case then we could talk with them. Lots of my friends, BTW, live
in NY and have European handsets. They work fine. 

If you want me to say that FIC promises your handset will work on any
network in the world, our legal team will have my head ;-)

What I will say is that if we find out this handset won't work in NY,
I'll fight for you. But again, I _highly_ doubt this will happen.
