"click and hold" might enable clicking "through" the keyboard to the
underlying layer?
This would make it a great keyboard: it takes up virtually NO screen
real estate, big buttons, and you can switch text fields, copy/paste,
scroll.. Without the keyboard the need to disappear and appear again.
