Jalimo vs. AWT

Thanks! Is Jalimo superior to AWT? I don't want to use
Swing if it runs slow on the NEO. I'm not familiar
with GTK is it fast? Thanks... Walls.
PS: Wanted my compass digital/internal for game usage.
