I think 500 is probably a generic HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error), as 
I'm getting a "Gateway Error 500" ("Error from the Hi Trust gateway: 
TrustLink Server is closed. Or Merchant Server IP is not consistent with 
TrustLink Server setting.") before I even get a chance to enter my 
credit card info--i.e. when it says, "Forwarding you to Hi_Trust..."

Though--assuming I can get to the Hi Trust server eventually--I'll keep 
an eye out for a 500 indicated the credit card was rejected, too.  :)
