Problems in openmoko-messages

Hello, Paul!
I've tried to install your package -
http://www.stosb.com/openmoko/shr-utf8_0.1_armv4t.ipk
but had some problems. Here is the output from the opkg installer:

Configuring shr-utf8
Generating locales...
  en_US.UTF-8...cannot map archive header: Invalid argument
postinst script returned status 1
Collected errors:
 * ERROR: shr-utf8.postinst returned 1

Google didn't help me in resolving this problem with locale generation :(
