no response from gsm modem

[Test]

I could not get any response from gsm modem. not sure why? see below
 
 
GTA02v6 # neo1973 gsm on
GTA02v6 # terminal serial
Entering terminal mode for port serial
Use '~.' to leave the terminal and get back to u-boot
