Yes of course,
- date and timezone ok
- persist file removed
- fso-gpsd restarted
- no concurrent gpsd running
- telnet localhost 2947 ok but without real data when press on r (but 
lots of commas !)

And no fix in tangogps even after long time.

PS : but you're right to mention trivial things, to avoid the 
"omfg-cable-was-unplugged-since-beginning" syndrom ;)
