[boot loader] Error messages from boot loader, are they written to FLASH?

I've worked in other environments with embedded devices and usually,
the boot loader will write any error or information output to FLASH
which can be pulled out and looked at after the fact. I've noticed
that the u-boot for Neo writes some message to the console and then
overwrites it as it recycles back to the boot loader menu. Is there a
way to see this message? While trying to use the AUX and Power button
to navigate and then fumbling for a magnifying glass to read the
screen, I am never able to really read the message that is coming up.

I'm trying to setup my Neo to boot from the uSD.
