Hello I haved installed Debian GNU/Linux in my Neo Freerunner, but I cant
use the wireless.
I haved installed WiCd and configure the wireless interface to eth1, but
dont works, also I configured to eth0, but dont works and I tried with wlan
and wlan0 and dont works =(
I readed the wiki of OpenMoko and Debian and configured my
/etc/network/interfaces:
auto usb0
iface usb0 inet static
address 192.168.0.202
netmask 255.255.255.255.0
network 192.168.0.0
gateway 192.168.0.200
up echo nameserver 192.168.0.200 > /etc/resolv.conf
auto eth1
iface eth1 inet dhcp
wireless-power on
wpa-driver wext
wpa-ssid "lared"
wpa-psk "laclave"
But when I make ifup eth1, the next messages appear:
Error for wireless request "Set Power Management" (8B2D) :
GET failed on device eth1 ; No such device
ioctl[SIOCGIFFLAGS]: No such device
wpa_supplicant: /sbin/wpa_supplicant daemon failed to start
run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wpasupplicant exited with return code 1
Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Client V3.1.2p1
bla bla bla
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
eth1: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
eth1: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
Bind socket to interface: No such device
Failed to bring up eth1
Also I tried with wlan, wlan0, eth0.
What is the problem?
