You mean that you can re-associate with the original AP but with no
other ?

I'm beginnng to suspect that ar6000_ioctl_giwscan is just a symptom.
In my test setup, wpa_supplicant somehow manages to get it also quite
reliably when starting, even though "iwlist scan" never has that
problem.
