Three things:

* Reliable SMS and regular phone call implementation. Nothing fancy,
  but good quality

* Easy setup of a bluetooth headset. Bonus for A2DP, but to me the most
  important thing would be regular telephoning which can be easily
  setup though the phoning interface

* Reliable suspend/resume so that the battery will survive with
  charging about once a week
