How to install zhone/framework from git.

Hi.
 I would like to try out the v.latest zhone/framework and it would
 seem like the best way to get it is using 'git' and pull the master
 branch.

 However I cannot install from there.

 I try 
    python setup.py install

 having installed all the obvious dependencies (python-cython,
 python-dev etc):

 For zhone I get:

    error: Cython does not appear to be installed on platform 'posix'

 For framework it installs lots of stuff in a direction "build", and
 then gives the same message.

 So: how do I give the message, and how do I install into the root
 filesystem??
